In an era where technology is seamlessly integrated into education, the Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education (JKBOSE) takes a significant leap forward by simplifying the process of online renewal registration for Classes 11th and 12th for the Academic Session 2023-24. This user-friendly approach ensures a hassle-free experience for both schools and students, streamlining the renewal process with easy-to-follow steps.
Step 1: Visit the Official Website
Begin the renewal process by navigating to the official JKBOSE website at www.jkbose.nic.in. On the homepage, locate the “Online Services” section and click on the “RR Renewal for Class 11th/12th” link. This initiates the renewal journey for the upcoming academic session.
Step 2: Official Login
Schools need to log in using their Clerk Account through the “Official Login” window. This secure login ensures that only authorized personnel can access and manage the renewal process.

Step 3: Choose Renewal Registration
Once logged in, schools should select the “Renewal Registration for Class 11th/12th” option from the dashboard. This directs them to the renewal interface, where they can begin the process for each eligible student.
Step 4: Enter Registration Number
Input the student’s Registration Number in the designated field. The system will automatically fetch the candidate’s registered data, reducing manual data entry and minimizing errors.
Step 5: Upload Photograph and Signature
Candidates are required to upload their latest photograph and signature within the specified size limits (between 10 KB to 50 KB). Careful verification of all details, especially the photograph, subjects, and signatures, is crucial before final submission.
Note: Subject selection is applicable for Class 11th only. For Class 12th, subjects will be auto-fetched based on the selections made in Class 11th.
Step 6: Submission and Approval
After submitting the Renewal Registration form, it undergoes an automatic approval process by the “Principal Account” of the respective school. This ensures a swift and efficient workflow.
Step 7: Fee Payment
Upon approval by the Principal, the prescribed renewal registration fee must be paid collectively through the “School (Clerk) Account” of the institution. It’s important to note that students are not permitted to pay the fee directly.
Step 8: Eligibility Cases
Students falling under eligibility cases are exempted from filling the RR Renewal form separately. Their entries automatically reflect in the respective portal, streamlining the process for students with special eligibility considerations.
Note: No Corrections after Fee Payment.
Once the fee is paid, corrections are not allowed. Institutions bear the responsibility of meticulously filling the form, ensuring all particulars are accurate before making the payment.
